Monferrato and Langhe:
Land of the thousand hills, vineyards as far as the eye can reach the countless hills of the Monferrato and Langhe in the north west of Italy are bordered in the north by the river Po and in the south the reach far down to the ligurian Alps and the Riviera. The major cities Milan, Turin and Genoa form a widespread triangle around this important agricultural area. You find international airports in all three of those cities and the are easy to reach by car in 45 to 75 minutes.
The climate is mediterranean and mild
The Mediterranean Sea is only 50 km away. The winters are short, with many hours of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. In the months of January and February the temperatures may fall under 0°C during nighttime and from time to time it may snow as well. Spring and fall are long and warm and the summer is hot and dry, despite this the heat is easily bearable because the hills surrounding are always aired by a gentle breeze from the Mediterranean Sea.
